Warning: this post will make you hungry!

Happy Friday!  I saved the best for last: Candy apples!  YUM!  Using different toppings, you could make the apples match your color scheme or just make them pretty neutral.

All apples from here.

Do you and your hubby-to-be love breakfast food like pancakes and waffles?  I have the perfect weding favor for you!  Plus, what says fall more than leaves?

Aren’t they adorable?  So cute!  From here.

If you are not a fan of the leaf shape, try this look:

My Mam-Maw (my mom’s mom) used to make the best apple jelly!  Even now, it makes me think of her warm and amazing home made biscuits with the jelly on them.  YUM!   As I was thinking about fun fall favors that are DIY, this yummy jelly came to mind.  Do you have a favorite jelly or jam?  While they are slightly time consuming to make, so are most other DIY favors!  Go for it!  I love to make Cran-Strawberry jam each Christmas to give as gifts and I find it to be really fun!

Here are a few ways to make them your own:

I love the Spread the Love labels with the red gingham topper tied off with a little rope.  From here.

I love the color of the peaches and cream jam!  From here.

I love the little attached spoons!  So cute!  From here.

I love finding new and unique favor ideas especially when they represent the season of the year, a theme or something the couple just really loves.  This week, I want to feature some fun fall favors that you can incorporate into your day!

Today is all about pie!  If you like pie better than cake, serve it at your wedding!  I you don’t want to serve it as the “main dessert,” you could always make a pie station with little take out boxes for your guests.  This might be a great way to incorporate your family and friend’s baking skills.  Have your mom make 3 of her famous apple pies and your mother-in-law make 3 of her blueberry pies and your Great Aunt Sally make you favorite chocolate chess pie.  Have each them write out 20 recipe cards to put next to their pies so that your guests can take home a slice and a recipe.  Oh, how I love personal favors that are actually yummy and/or useful!
