As soon as you start planning your wedding, you will realize that everything has a price tag…and it is not always what you think it should be.  Typically, it is much higher than you think it should be…”womp, womp” (or as my husband thinks it should be spelled “wah, wah”).  This sad fact is especially true when it comes to flowers.  Although they may be costly, there is one place that no bride should ever skimp in the flower department.  YOUR BOUQUET!  A typical bridal bouquet runs anywhere from $125 to $250, but it is well worth the money.  Why?  Your wedding dress and bouquet are 2 of the most photographed items that you will ever purchase.  These are the things that will be your most vivid memories of your big day because you will have reminders of them in almost every picture you take.  You can save money in all of your other decor (stay tuned for future posts), but go for the gold with your bouquet.  Find a florist that you love even if you only use her for your bouquet.  Here are a few stunning options to think about:

Your bouquet should reflect you!  Have fun with the “wrap” around the stems (ie ribbon, fabric, crystals, piece of your mom’s wedding dress, handkerchief from your grandparent’s wedding); use your grandmother’s favorite broach, add in feathers; play with color and bling.

Have a wonderful Weekend!
